This is one of the reasons I refuse to eat fast food.

Sickening.

who are we?

Somebody posted a bulletin that got me thinking--it was supporting the US troops and giving some demographics on them, and it was kind of touching. So I posted a response bulletin. Here's most of it:
-------------------------
Whether or not you support the war or the US involvement in it, it's important to support the troops and pray for them. Remember that they're people, not gods, and don't idolize them; just love and support them.

Pray also for the other side--that whatever they're doing that's not right they reconsider. Maybe pray that each see the other as a person and that that spread right up the chain to the very top.

The fighters on the other side might not be volunteers, might not be paid, like in our military. For whatever reason, whether it be indoctrination, intolerance, nationalism, being coerced or forced, they need prayer, too.

Frankly, I can't think of anybody on earth who wouldn't benefit from being prayed for--American, Afghan, Iraqi, Ibo, whatever. We're all God's children, or He wants us to be. He loves us. Who are we to not love each other?
