dumbbell

Just realised I picked up a 150-pound dumbbell with one arm just to impress somebody. If I was as smart as I am strong (and I'm not that strong--I didn't pick it up very far, nor could I hold it very long), I'd be dangerous. :P Anyway, I thank God for the gift of a good deal of physical strength. Thanks, Father.

Today, I thank God I did not buy a new phone. There is an update coming for the phone I already have. Thanks, Father. :)

Change

Just realizing that, just like you only change physically by changing up your workouts, you only grow in your life by doing different stuff, better stuff. If you want the same results, do the same stuff; if you want different results, do different stuff. I've known that intellectually for years, but now I am really starting to get it. I thank God for this.

Just noticed some healing God's done in my body--a cramped calf muscle that had persisted (usually, it doesn't) I prayed for and now it's gone. I praise and thank God for that! :) Thanks, Father!

Today, I thank God for the chance to pray over people and share Scripture with them in a non-threatening (to me or them) way via this "Message From God" Facebook app. It's a help to them and, as I research stuff to send them, a help to me. Thanks, Father.

I bought an iPod Touch from a friend for a good price after my old one (which my friend also blessed me with at a good price a few months ago), er, took a swim in a bathroom. The person from whom my friend got the new iPod also included a pair of Bose headphones possibly worth as much as $299.00...free. I thank God for that generosity and count it as a harvest on seed sown. Glory to God for this. Also, some good things are starting to happen to/for me in the film area (and folks have prayed for me in the film acting area for favor and wisdom). Once I agreed to take myself out of the picture as a lead actor in an upcoming short film, making room for another, it's amazing what talent I will now get to work with on this film, and I'm happy and blessed to give them a chance. I thank and glorify God for and in all of this. Thanks, Father.
