myself

I thank God that I just now learnt it's okay, and preferable, to be just be myself. Thanks, Father. :-)

encouragement

Today, I thank God for the person at Kenneth Copeland Ministries who reminded me to be thankful, not to envy the wicked, and that not to be thankful (this is a constant state of being) was sin--and who gave me some scripture to look at and to back up what she was saying: Psalm 37, Psalm 73 and Psalm 107. Thanks, Father.

Jeremiah 29:11

The Lord put Jeremiah 29:11 on my heart--a familiar verse. When I looked it up, it was one I had resented because heard it so much it was, to me, a platitude. But I read it again today--and now, thanks to God's opening it up to me or my being in a place to receive it, I get it and I receive it. I take it. And I thank God for it!

decision

Watching more of "Robin Hood"--Robin and Marian got married, and one thing they said was "I promise to love you". Beautiful. Reminds me that love is a decision, not a feeling, and therefore, God tells me, even more to be treasured.

beauty

Watching the British TV series "Robin Hood", they spoke of people in the Holy Land using pigeons to carry messages and how the pigeon would find its way back not because it wanted to go home; it wanted to be with its mate. Robin asked Lady Marian if she thought the pigeons could find their way across thousands of miles, from England to the Holy Land. She mentioned the dove finding its way back to Noah's ark. I believe God used that to show me another layer, more comprehension of, the beauty of His design, this time with couples. How far would you go to be with the one you love again?

repentance

Today, I found that something I had thought was one way was perhaps not the way I thought. I assumed something, and that assumption may have been wrong. I do that too much, and I repent of that and certain attendant feelings associated with it. (this has nothing to do with the SAG job) Thanks for Your forgiveness on that, Father.

SAG

Glory to God! First SAG job! Will tell more details, maybe, after the job's done. :-) YYYYYIIIIPPPPEEEE!
