Today, I thank and praise God for relatives, long since seen, now coming to town. God has kept His Hand on us. To HIm be the glory for that. I ask for prayer of agreement from those who are pray to God that the Lord work through me to them and through them to me.

better wisdom

Got some good wisdom from God today via an old friend: never mind the time limitation on when to go to L.A. Go when I have X amount of money, and by Sept. I'll be pretty close to that anyway. I feel a lot more peace about that, glory to God. There's so much to be said for wise counsel.

compliment

Today, I thank God for a very important compliment from a very important person. Thanks, T., and thanks, Father, for T. You've blessed my by letting me know, and hopefully learn, from such a wise one as them.

Investment opportunity

Praise God! I asked for money. God gave me an investment opportunity. Glory and thanks to God!

influence

We are all called to influence others. Including me. God's just impressed that on me even more, more clearly. Gonna need God's help big-time to not screw this (me as a Christian and an influence, like it or not, on others) up. Prayers requested.

friends

If your friends are a reflection of who you are, all I can say is I'm one of the most blessed people on earth. Today, I thank God for the honor of the friends He's given me. Thanks, Father. Very much.

Something God just showed me: when we sin, it's not necessarily the act that hurts Him; it's our turning away from Him.

Well, glory to God! Some money I will be getting may be more than I'd anticipated, and I may get it sooner. I praise God and give Him the glory for that and for His working in my life, which He's just a moment ago reminded me that He's always doing. Always.

renewing of the mind

Here's another fun tip God shared with me--that renewing of the mind I've been asking for is a great way not only to not be judgmental but also to break bad habits, thoughts, ideas. He also just now shared with me that it's an ongoing process. Thanks again, Father.

the kingdom of God

Today, I thank God for helping me understand what "the kingdom of God" is--it's wherever God is in authority, where He is allowed to be the decision-maker in our lives. Thanks, Father.

God showed me something from a thing "pioneering chef" Michael Quinn said on "Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" about drink but which applies to any addictive behaviour: "Willpower doesn't get you well. the perils of not listening to the Holy Spirit

Today, I found out the peril of not listening to the Holy Spirit when He tells you to move your car or it'll get hit (it was legally parket--He just meant move it to another space): mine got hit while I was in a restaurant. No note or anything. Just a dent and some white paint. Grrr. I've got to listen to the Holy Spirit and do what He says. I will from now on. Thanks, Father. I thank God that I have the deductible.

number one priority

God showed me something important I needed to do: make Him my number one priority. So I did. Dunno how this will change things, but it's gonna be better. Thanks, Father.

amazing

Something God showed me: Amazing how much correcting bad behavior (or sin) comes down not to asking God to fix it but catching it early (which the Holy Spirit helps you do, if you let Him) and making an alternative decision (which the Holy Spirit also helps you do, if you let HIm).

Got an unexpected extra shift at work, which means more money. Glory to God! He takes care of His children. Thank You, Father! Glory to God, everything is going to be all right!

grace

Today, I thank God for the grace of my co-workers--I was so not on last shift. Thanks, Father.

resources

Glory to God! A commercial I was blessed to be in has been re-bought, so some unexpected resources are coming my way! I also got some unexpected hours at work today. Even when it looks rough, God takes care of His children. Money is cometh-ing to me now! Praise God, and thank You, Father!

prayers

Something God just shared with me: Don't give Me religious prayers; talk to me. Don't pray out of obligation. Talk to Me. Everything I do, I do out of love. I expect the same from you.

role

Prayers of agreement requested--getting submitted for a couple of biggish roles in a SAG film. I name and claim and believe that I receive one of these roles.

bone-headed decisions

God just reminded me of how well He takes care of me, even through some kinda bone-headed decisions prompted by impatience. I thank and praise Him for that.

looking out

I just realised anew how much God has been looking out for me, helping me not to things I would perhaps have liked to have done but for all the wrong reasons--things which would haunt me later. Thank God I didn't do them. I thank God for looking out for me.

hours

Today, I thank God work scheduled me for more hours. Still looking for a full-time job, but more hours at the PT one helps. Thanks, Father! :-)

renew

Today, I thank God for renewing my mind--it's a work in progress, but at least it's in progress. Thanks, Father.

meal

As I was getting ready to eat, the Lord reminded me of this: the reason He wants me to thank Him for my meal is because He loves me and He wants me to remember Who my Provider is. The reason He wants me to ask Him to bless the meal is because He loves me and wants permission to bless the food He gave me--that way, I get more out of it and He gets to do something good for me. This is all because He loves me. :-) Thanks, Father. :-)

healing

Today, I thank God for healing. I named it, claimed it, believed that I received it in Jesus' Name, and here it is, glory to God! Thank You, Father!
